The Church Structure: " We Are Family" (part 1)

Hello folks it has been a while since i have posted but let's get started. Todays message is about the Church structure as a family.

"1 Do not rebuke an older man, but exhort him as a father, younger men as brothers, 2 older women as mothers, and with all propriety, the younger women as sisters."

This passage basically shows face value. Some times as church member we tend to think of each other as seat mates. Some people in the Church however, do take the time to know and build relationships with those around them. So take time in your sanctuary on a Sunday morning to allow the people of the church to be part of your everyday life, and not just the "Sunday Crew." On top of that treat them like your flesh and blood for we are the "Body of Christ," we do share a spiritual bloodline.

Ephesians 2:19

"19 So then you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with the saints, and members of God's household"

This clearly shows that we are not to be distant from each other, but mainly close quarterly to one another. With any and every church that believes in the one true God is our brother/ sister/ mother / father and we are called to love them accordingly. Usually tense in a church where you feel like a stranger, but this should not be so.

Ephesians 4:5-6

"one Lord,  one faith, one baptism, 6 one God  and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.E)"

This shows the over looking father in which we all share...

Genesis 1:1 part 2.. The thought of God's Existence

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

In the first post we see that i mainly focused on the doctrine of the trinity as well as the origin of God where he came from and how he was to be in which the answer lie in the first part of this verse "In the beginning God..." Basically we agree that the Questions:

-Where did God come from?
-How did he get here?
-What was he doing before creating earth?

Can all be answered by this sentence or phrase stating that God existed or as the text says "In the beginning God..." Another thought that came up while I was in a bible study was "Why did God not write how he came to be?" Well the answer to that is simple. If i were to write a biography or even a novel with me as the author would I have to write page upon page of proving that i exist? The answer is merely no. The fact that I am writing the material shows that I do exist or the writing would not even be in front of anyone. There is a scripture that states that the scriptures are inspired by God (2 Timothy 3: 16-17). And if this is true then it must be true he wrote it using the help of man by inspiring them.

Well that is all for this shorter post which was mainly just a thought .. For more uplifting faith builders or just to learn more about the Christian Faith Visit this web site " http://www.svbchurch.com"

Genesis 1:1

IN THE BEGINNING GOD CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH....

There are many things written here if not taking in its context will go ahead and ruin the thought process of men in their journey to know God as he is and not how man perceives him.

We as people have many questions when it comes to a state men like this. One of those questions might be What was God doing before this? The very answer lies in the first part of the verse.

In the beginning God......

since we know he calls himself the alpha and the omega(Revelation 1:8, 22:13) it is shown he is the beginning and the end and; Since this verse here says  "in the beginning God" this only means that in the beginning of all things God existed and to exist is a verb. For the Christian faith this is the axiom or an origin. If we decide to go past where the bible is silent then we start to lean on our own understanding of the bible as a mixture of man's thought mixed with God's thought; as opposed to seeing the bible as a whole masterpiece of harmony and truth. We must learn to trust and have faith in the word of God (Proverbs 3:5).

As we move in in the scripture we see that he created time hence the" beginning", space "the heavens", and matter "the earth". So as we can observe here is that God himself in the first verse upholds the doctrine of the trinity. If we were to summarize the verse it would say "in the beginning God created the universe". the universe is made of 3 things Time, Space, and Matter.

-Time is not Space
-Time is not Matter
-Space is not Time
-Space is not Matter
-Matter is not Space
-Matter is not Time

Yet They are all Together the universe.

come to think if it we are all build in such a format. all our bodies are systematically composed of the same type of ordeal.

Mind, Soul, and Spirit..

Those things in themselves are not each other yet, they come together and make us as humans made in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26).

As we go ahead and sum things up. we can end wit this thought.. If we ever have a problem with the very beginning of the bible then like all things we have a problem with the whole bible.

Hope this Helps the Faith of many who walk in Christ and as well as many more entries to come.

Respectfully

-Shawn
