The Church Structure: " We Are Family" (part 1)

Hello folks it has been a while since i have posted but let's get started. Todays message is about the Church structure as a family.

"1 Do not rebuke an older man, but exhort him as a father, younger men as brothers, 2 older women as mothers, and with all propriety, the younger women as sisters."

This passage basically shows face value. Some times as church member we tend to think of each other as seat mates. Some people in the Church however, do take the time to know and build relationships with those around them. So take time in your sanctuary on a Sunday morning to allow the people of the church to be part of your everyday life, and not just the "Sunday Crew." On top of that treat them like your flesh and blood for we are the "Body of Christ," we do share a spiritual bloodline.

Ephesians 2:19

"19 So then you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with the saints, and members of God's household"

This clearly shows that we are not to be distant from each other, but mainly close quarterly to one another. With any and every church that believes in the one true God is our brother/ sister/ mother / father and we are called to love them accordingly. Usually tense in a church where you feel like a stranger, but this should not be so.

Ephesians 4:5-6

"one Lord,  one faith, one baptism, 6 one God  and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.E)"

This shows the over looking father in which we all share...
